Rich, Did you catch the part about it being on another site with the same picture etc. So two dealers are selling the same car? If he purchased the car from the other guy fine but it's listed still for sale there.

Sorry guys,
I will honor the $24,900 as the car sits, but here's the crazy thing. I had potential buyer after buyer tell me, regarding the Torino GT, "it's Too Cheap what is wrong with the car????" They would'nt even come to look at it. So, I upped the price according to the latest price guides and auction results. Maybe then someone will look at it, and all the cars documentation and realize what a deal the car is. Sounds silly?
But, I got fed up when a Grabber Blue one, that I beat at the nationals sells for $42,000. and then another for $56,000. and only one of those cars had the matching motor.

So it's known,
The Chassis on the Torino is Not Detailed. We did not detail it since it still has all the original factory markings. And there is no rust anywhere. It will need a new exhaust system though, it's showing it's age and heck I drive the car to shows. Isn't that what it's all about.
Anyway, Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I've been down sick again. Part of the reason I am thinning out the herd.
Oh,
This Torino has All it's Original Buildsheets, also Decoded Buildsheets that Mr Shenk decoded when he verified the cars authenticity. It's one of 17 cars in his Signature Series club.
And The Car is Completely Numbers Matching all the way through. At the higher price I will put the new exhaust on, Get a full Marti report etc...
But, I had so many people say. Too Cheap, WHY?? I couldn't stand it anymore and several people said up the price. So I did.
Here's the Funny part, I have had more people call on it since and a couple who want to see it. Go Figure...
Again, sorry I didn't reply sooner.

Don't know what you mean about "financing a New Website" I spent a whole weekend Re-Creating it from scratch. I don't use webdesigners, I do it myself. Doesn't cost anything but time, and a little HTML knowledge.
And with regards to prices on cars,
Can I still buy a Mint Yenko Camaro for What I paid back in 1997? I believe, though I would have to go back and look at the papers, $25,000 for that car.
They seem to have gone up in price over time.
Dealer reference. I have every car and truck I own registered to me, insured by me, and driven by me. They are kept at my home and in my own garages. I just buy more cars when the feeling strike. It's Not a Hobby...It's a Habit! My Wife and I do all our own work too. Actually, she does most of it now. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

One thing,
I just looked at the 67 Impala SS Ragtop. I love Big Cars, and have to think, What makes a "Driver Quality" Small Block Impala SS worth $35K and Not My 429 - 4 speed Torino GT.
All the latest books put a Torino GT squarely in the 35K range and then some. But you'll be hard pressed to find an Impala SS ragtop Small Block hit that number.
Then again, it's what it's worth to the right person.
I don't sell any of my cars to make a living. i have a whole other business for that. I just offer them when I get the itch for something different or I have taken, as in the case of the Torino, the car to every place I can.
The Torino was featured in "Hemmings Muscle Machines" 14th issue November 2004,
it has been on several Muscle Car Calendars too.
now it's time to move on if someone wants it. Otherwise, it's still fun to drive, and looks great in my garage.
Just FYI

Richard,
Only a little sarcasm in regards to the $11,000.00 price change on the car. Thanks for the explanation and nice job on the website.

Thanks,
I tried to update it, and if we can get our act together my wife and I will put together the annual Show Calendar for New England we used to do. We prided ourselves on the most comprehensive calendar for New England on the web. A lot of work, but worth it. We'll see.
P.S. I Like That License Plate you got....

It wasn't my first choice. I received this letter AFTER I had received the new registration in the mail with the first choice printed on it.
