Im listing this car for my Dad, Its actually my old car he bought it from me last year.
1958 Morris Minor 1000, This car has been a Gasser/Old race car since the 60's, It came out of New York and use to be Red with a Mouse painted on both sides of the front fender/door, I believe it was called Mighty Mouse (I have old pics somewhere in my email) anyways The car was put into Street use back in the late Seventys, I bought it a few years ago and the guy I bought it from owned since the 70's ( I still have his info) he use to pull his little camper with the car back and forth to Florida NO B.S., The car hasnt had to many changes since back in the day.. It isnt a 100k pro built car, Its a true old school hot rod that gets more attention than anything Ive owned besides my old 41 Willys, It now is mainly used as a weekend cruiser but I wouldnt hesitate to drive this car across country at the drop of a hat.
Car info: 383 Chevy Stroker, MSD, Muncie 4 speed, Line Lock, Dana 60 with 4.11 posi, ladder bar coil over, drive shaft loop, chrome straight axle with rack&pinion, front disc brakes rear drum, Narrowed funny car chassis, Nice Base/Clear Metallic Blue paint, Crager 15x10 Rears with newer drag radials, 15x4 fronts, New carpet and front door panels and VW low back bucket seats, Still needs some int. work, Not a Street Rod Nationals type of car, but nice crusier/local car show kind of car. Car draws a crowd where ever it goes and is a blast to drive. All lights wipers, horn etc work. I feel its priced very fair for whats out there for Gasser cars..They seem to be catching and becoming desirable. $17,900 or possible trade for 1955 thru 1957 Chevy. 507-208-0191 Thanks Andy
I also have the front bumper and both fender extensions.
Id also love to hear from people that remember this car from back in the day. The car was suppose to be a real terror back then.
