Can't believe no one has bought this car yet? You would think the Camaro guys on this forum would be fighting one another to buy this car? Perhaps they are only bench racing supercar guys and not true super car guys? LOL http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Charlie, in the years of being on this site I cannot remember you selling one of your cars. Lately you seem to be trying to move a fair amount of your amazing cars. If you don't mind me asking, are you just lightening up on the collection or making room for new acquisitions??

Whoever gets any of your cars is extremely lucky. They all seem to be in absolutely perfect condition!

Bill, just curious, "If you don't mind me asking", are you a buyer on this amazing car?

That's a very personal question in a very public forum. If you fell inclined to ask why not delete your post and send a PM!

I've sold cars before but usually I could just sell by word of mouth. The L89 is nowhere near perfect condition but it is the coolest one I know of. As for why...My income has dropped but my spending habits haven't. I am also leaning more toward running open track events and would rather have those type of cars right now so something needs to go to support my habits.

This could be one of my favorite cars and color combo's. Just wondering how many of these jewels are actually left. I recall seeing an orange L89 at the camaro nationals last year. I'm not sure it was real though, as I heard Jerry M. would not certify the car as being authentic for some reason. I would love to trade my car for it. Heck, I'd even be willing to throw in my sorry brother in law in the deal. Maybe your wife could train him to do something (LOL).

THE HUGGER ORANGE L89 RECEIVED A LEGEND AWARD AT THE '07 CAMARO NATIONALS WITH A SCORE OF 98.3%. THE SCORE REFLECTS THE QUALITY OF THE RESTORATION AND THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE CAR. JERRY M WAS ONE OF THE JUDGES. IF YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT CRAWL BACK IN YOUR CORNER AND KEEP QUIET.... JUST MY .02 CENTS... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bs.gif KP

NO REASON FOR BEING A !@#$ LIKE YOU ARE THROUGHOUT THIS WEBSITE. I DID'NT EVEN KNOW WHO'S CAR IT WAS. OBVIOUSLY IT MUST BE YOURS. I SIMPLY ASKED HOW MANY CARS LIKE THAT ONE WERE AROUND TODAY (REAL ONES). THE COMMENT ON THE ORANGE CAR WAS INSIGNIFICANT TO WHAT I WAS SAYING ABOUT THE GREEN CAR. IT WAS NOT A SLAM ON YOU!!!! HOWEVER, I WAS TOLD JERRY WAS PAID TO CERTIFY THE CAR AND HE WOULD NOT. DO I HAVE MY FACTS STRAIGHT. I THOUGHT THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN OPEN FORUM FOR DISCUSSION AND COMMENTARY, BUT ALL I SEE IS ALOT OF ARGUING AND JABBING WHICH YOU SEEM TO BE QUITE INVOLVED WITH FROM WHAT I READ HERE. NO NEED FOR THE CAP'S OR YOUR ATTITUDE ON THIS SITE. JUST MY .02 CENTS...@## #$@#

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR INFO THAT JM REFUSED TO CERTIFY THE ORANGE L89 ????? AS A PREVIOUS OWNER, I DON'T RECALL EVER ASKING JM TO CERTIFY THIS CAR !!!! WE BROUGHT THE CAR TO CARLISLE LAST SUMMER, AND IT SCORED EXTREMELY WELL. IT SPENT QUITE A WHILE ON THE LIFT FOR EVERYONE TO SEE. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HIDE WITH THIS CAR. YOU NEED TO GET YOUR FACTS IN ORDER BEFORE YOU START TYPING !!!!! AT LEAST THE REAL ENGINE IS IN THIS CAR, AND RUNS WELL, NOT IN A WHEELBARROW AS YOURS. I AGREE WITH KP, CRAWL BACK INTO YOUR CORNER AND GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT. I'M SURE THAT I WILL GET ANOTHER "TIME OUT" AFTER THIS. I REALLY HAVEN'T MISSED BEING LOGGED ONTO THIS SITE, AND DEALING WITH A$$CLOWNS LIKE YOURSELF http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bs.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bs.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/Charley.gif

Charley is trying to sell a legitamate car here, and you come aboard and bash your sister, brother in law, Kenny's car and by "heresay" think Jerry did whatever. Not cool.
Let this car be for sale for what it is and keep it at that, Geez.

All I wanna do is sell my car.....
10/10... The orange car is a killer car with orig engine. Most work as I recall was done by Arone Auto Body, Supercar Workshop, Kenny Pascoe ETC. Quite often you will see Jerry butting heads with Supercar Workshop over things being judged at Carlisle so I doubt if they would have asked Jerry to certify the car. Supercar Workshop cars tend to stand on their own without anyone elses certificates. You really should think before you make a comment about Jerry not being willing to certify the car when you don't really know because you have just slammed it. Maybe you did or didn't mean to slam it but you see the result. No Frank...No time out for you. You have to stay here and suffer. Pascoe....Maybe we should just delete your posts when they get posted in CAPS ? Enough is enough fellas.

Wow this site is really going to the DAWGS. It seems people post on this site with http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bs.gif comments and then backup and say I didn't think I was slamming you or your car. I have had a car in the Legends system for the past 2 years and will be bringing another car soon, the criteria is very strict, believe me if anyone is misrepresenting a car, they wouldn't take it to GM Carlisle to get exposed that is absurd. 10 10RSZ28 you must have an agenda or ax to grind because with ONLY 14 posts you have tried to sell your car, bash the barnfind Z because of rust issues and proclaim what that car is worth, unless you are a potential buyer of that car, stay out of someone elses business and keep your JMHO to yourself. Lastly you slander the HO L89 car with hearsay, this site should be helpful to all of us to better understand the cars we enjoy. The ATTACKS on cars and people have got to stop. Guys remember what mama told ya....if ya ain't got nothin to say nice...then SHUT THE HELL UP.

120K isn't exactly chump change but for a Low Mileage documented real L89 car, it's not the # it's going to take to buy this car. If you had the 150K available, this would be one nice deal to get in to. Somewhat similar situation happened at Mecum Saturday night with the original drive train well documented 69 Yenko Camaro not selling at 310K. Gary thought the bid should of been 350K to pry that car away but did not quite get that number unless something was worked off camera.

IMHO, 150K for this L89 is one heck of a good deal and below fair market value for this particular car. Charley is being benevolent by pricing it the way he has.....better act fast before he returns to his normal self!!!!

03-31-2008, 10:00 PM
I agree with that, this car is a great deal at $150,000. I was just sayin that $120,000 in general is alot of money thats all. Anyone have it just layin around I could use it.

BARNFOUND YENKO
03-31-2008, 10:06 PM
Thats my point, http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif $150k is a great price for Charley's car therefore as stated above the $120k high bid was weak. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Stuart Adams

Charley, maybe you could throw it in with Dave C.'s stuff and have Mecum auction it. Probably do pretty good, especially with the type of collector his cars will generate, just a thought. Good luck.
