1969 chevelle ss 396 4speed that i purchased from original owner about 8 yrs ago. The car needs a total restoration but is very solid. It was partially dissasembled when i purchased it. THe body is very nice with the exception of the passenger door (was hit at one time and dent pulled) and front fender has rust in the bottom in the usual spot, otherwise original quarters and floors in beautiful shape. It was purchased in minnesota, the guy moved to arizona, then moved back in 82 and parked the car. He then started to dissamble it and it sat ever since. Car is lemans blue, black vinyl top,all origial drivetrain,4 speed, still has original shifter. No paperwork with car, when i pulled the backseat the mice had destroyed the BS. Price is 17k

The tan interior appears to be out of a 71-72? Is the hood and trunk lid original or from China? Looks solid. Lets see that trim tag.

Remind me to give you a lesson on photography....way too bright and too much glare.

Neat rusty Chevelle project. It had the Vigilite Light Monitoring system. Listed on the invoice and the holes are still on the front fenders.

Got to love those long, cold, wet winters and what they will do to a car up there in auger country.

I did get your message Chad....nice of you to throw in the parts car.

What did ever happen to the Vigilite Light Monitoring system? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

Both of those cars would be very cool if restored correctly... Not that you couldn't throw some serious cash at 'em to get there. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'd love to see pics of that silver car on day 1...I bet it was a beauty.

Donnie is correct....$347.60 is the price of the SS396 equipment package. The $121.15 'engine' line item must be the 350hp 396.
