That is one cool surf wagon,and it's a Soutgate build!.I remember that place do you Bruce?. Think it was the oldest GM plant in CA they built over a million cars there from the thirties till the mid seventies. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

I guess the car is sold. I hope someone here bought it. I'd love to see a picture of that car towing an open trailer with a Yenko on it!

The one in Floyd's museum was an L72 car. I believe that one is now in GM's collection.

That's right, the Floyd's car was an L72!.
There was a thread on here a couple years back when someone was calling it a Copo car and we were pointing out an L72 was an RPO in '69..

They're sure similar cars though...same roof cargo cover even!.

I was in GM's museum and the COPO sign was still in the window. I explained it was an RPO and they pulled the sign. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
