Not sure if you remember but way back when i had mentioned a few times about the Motion RIbbon Camaro and a twin that went to Hawaii. repainted and Clarence would set up a race with one Motion Camaro and bring out the repainted Ribbon Camaro. Well new member Willy Kaeo is the guy that hauled them around for Clarence who later brought over two Dick Landy HEMIL Challengers after Joel refused letting him become a MOTION Vender on Hawaii just a FYI on who he is if he posts anything about any of them hes a good guy and ive known him for 20+ years

    Hello Charley
I just recently corrected a few things on the car after having Don Bock look at it, Don is currently servicing the radio & 8-track player and I will have it back in the car soon. I also met up with Matt Avery who wrote the new COPO book, Brian Henderson hooked me up with him while the car was on display at the Solid Lifter showroom in June. Matt just finished up a photo shoot of the car for MCR, we took the car to the original Wantz Chevrolet Building and we met up with Leonard Wantz who bought the dealership in 1960 when he was 24 yrs old, and his mechanic (Bud Hahn) who worked there from 1965-1974 & remembers the car well & was friends with the original owner.

Send me your displayed email to send pics & video

    Thanks

    Hi Charley,

Chris Mounts here, a casual member of the site. I saw your wanted ad for a Blazer, and I wondered if your friend would be interested in a later model two wheel drive Tahoe? I have a MY '99 which is the last year they were built. I've had three of these over the years and really like them as a DD.

I bought it six years ago from the OG owner with only ten k miles on it, and it now only has 28k. Has been lowered and some of the trim shaved , and the engine has bolt-on performance parts, other than that everything is OG and near perfect.

If he has no interest, no need to get back to me, as I am sure you get enough of these types of correspondence. If you want pics, if you give an email address I can send some to you.

BTW, on another note, thanks for the Z28 1,100 website, as I have used it many times for reference for my OG '70 Z28RS.

We just found a special paint Yenko 1968 Z/28. Hidden in Cannonsburg for over 40 years. It is Corvette Bronze with a black hat. NO stripes. RS with console gauges, deluxe black interior and rear antenna, obviously no spoilers. This one is top secret so far. Original engine and 3:73.1 rear.

    Hello Charley,
Hope this message finds you well AND cool. Just left Calistoga Car Show. HOT!!
Heading down to Pacific Grove Sunday at noon for 4 days. Is there any way you can plug me in to Reggie Jackson for a visit while I am down there?? Last time I was there I met a guy that showed me where the place is that he keeps his cars. Can't remember where it was, but would be great to see his collection. I have had people tell me he lets car guys see it. But just not open to the public for regular visits. Just curious, as I know you are friends.. Thanx.. Danny

    Hello Charlie,
I was wanting to gauge an approximate value on my 1969 L-78 Survivor Camaro. It's the one with 9500 original miles on it and years ago it used to belong to Tom Clary and then Bill Stephenson. You looked at it in about 2006/2007 timeframe when I brought it to Carlisle for the survivor class. It won Vintage Legend Award. It also has a Gold Spinner from Chevy Vettfest from about the same timeframe. Its still in pretty much the same condition with 9562 original miles on it an does have the original protect-o-plate and signed notarized affidavit from the original owner. Of course all numbers and parts are matching as its pretty much a Survivor. I hope your doing well.

    Thanks,

    Darrell J.
