the red oxide is so sharp! i wish the original owner of my car hadnt painted it all black under the car when it was essentially new
|
That is the original floor pan paint on a car that has gotten detailed recently by me . It came out really well. Arlington dipped what seems like gallons of red oxide on cars .

Not to be That Guy, but I thought on an Arlington Chevelle, the bell housing was half raw aluminum and unpainted around the transmission area and half painted around the outside like the engine? Beautiful job on cleaning it up. Bill

My New Year's resolution is now, don't be " that guy" ! LOL

The more I look at these pictures, it's just amazing that this is the original red oxide paint on the floor pan, what a Fantastic job cleaning and detailing this car for all of us to see. If you don't mind me asking, what state (condition) was this car in and how many miles were on it when you started? I'm jealous, can I have it? Bill
|
The car has 38,000 miles on it. I rehabbed it in Oct/Nov of 2023 100 percent of the paint is original. I was shocked it came out so well. The car now looks as well underneath as the topside does. Thank You for the compliment. I will find a pic of what I started with.

Mike decided to get his car underside detailed. He trailered it here and came back to get it when it was finished . I took a bunch of pics every time it got worked on and sent him pics and text updates. He said the pics were the highlight of his day. His car is really nice and it drives well ! Mike is a straightforward guy and he is pretty easy to deal with. Thank you Mike for letting me work on your beautiful car!!
