The only one I ever seen is the one in my shop .it is a 78 tallon DKM#1

Looks alot like the car in the article. Here's a site that has alot of the DKM Firebirds. They were extremly popular cars in Utah back in the day. They are under Custom & Tuner Firebirds. www.firebirdgallery.com

Hello brian here. To anwser the first question the tallon came with the 79 nose the gentleman I bought the car from said it was a prototype.and it was the first one ever installed on a t/a he also told me he was the chief engineer for fisher body pontiac division and he designed the tallon and the 79 t/a. I forgot his name so I cant verify it. For the motor it has a pontiac 400 with a rayjyay turbo .

Doesn't the Talon in the enclosed article have &quot;1&quot; under the name Talon? (Hard to make out with the size of the picture). That car has a 1979 rear end, any chance that your car had the rear end treatment changed out at some point in its life?

The tallon in the article is a 79 dkm#1 mine is a 78 dkm#1what I Remember they made three in 78 and this is the only one left I think it was long age could be wrong I cant find much about tallons .

Does anyone have information on these cars?
I found info on the macho but cant find much on the tallon.
Does anyone know what these cars are worth? Im thinking I want to sell it but in this scewed up economy (thanks to are wonderful government) maybe keep it and wait for the economy to turn around?
Any input would greatly appreciated.

Top priority should be to find the Pontiac employee you mentioned and doccument the car back to when new with as many old pics and other historical data as possible.
