Nice Burgundy COPO
Nicely done. Not sure on the white-striped tires, but the rest of it sure is snazzy. They should fix the 4.56 BE rear-end reference in the copy.

The two 4.56 BE COPOs Steve noted are well known in the hobby. Others are possible.
BT is the code for the 3.55 posi axle. 4.56 was special order only [COPO 9511] for '69. There is a 9511 Z/28 with 4.88s; believe that code is BX, same as '68. Data indicates 997 L72 COPOs were built. Current body of knowledge includes about 450 cars. Plenty left to learn about COPOs. |
