Windshield wiper "park" replacement

Any words of wisdom out there on where to get a new "park" solenoid assembly for my 67 Camaro wiper motor? High & low speed work fine - park is smoked.

I guess I am confused, happens allot now. What exactly is a park solenoid ? I thought 67, 8 and 69 use the same motor ? And the park contacts are in the gear box housing.

Maybe my terminology isn't correct Mike. There's a little coil under the cover that starts the park cycle when the wipers are turned off. That coil is burned out on mine.

Isn't that solenoid for the WW pump??

Berry- are you talking about the plastic cover where the 2 spade connectors extend thru?

Eddie is right. That coil is to activate the washer pump cycle, one revolution of the stepping cam. The wiper motor will work without this.
When the switch is turned off the motor runs until through a ground circuit that allows the motor to run until the park contact inside the gearbox is opened and the motor is then off. The park contact opens once every revolution via a cam on the gear in the box.
Have you bench tested the motor yet ? to see if it works . It maybe a good place to start. You should be able to find a good used or NOS pump assy.
In my drawing Hi speed dc volts is 12 not 2.

If it is an orig wiper, i would try to rebuild/restore it

there is a guy i cannot recall that does a lot of wipers - maybe a corvette guy....i think in Ill or Wisconsin or Minnesota - hickel or kickel - ill have to look but he does great work

he can but the housing back together with the orig or correct rivots etc......
