If the owners wife's name was Vicki than its the real car, and it's actually been proven believe it or not! Badass car! I know because I follow thier shop on Facebook and the whole build to that car is on there.

Sounds like wishful thinking has maybe taken the wheel if the same Vicki and Dale from Dale's Autobody/Baldwin PA who were building a '68 Jenkins recreation back in '05 as this old Camaros.net thread?

proven NOT to be Jenkins '68 Camaro...trim tag shows it as a '67 body, original bolero red, 327 4pd car
Jenkins '68 was an original butternut yellow, L78 car

I looked at the car on Saturday the trim tag was taped off so no one could see. Guy claimed it was the real deal that he bought from a guy in New York that no idea what he had. Wasn't the 1968 car originally Butternut Yellow L78 painted white and the door jams etc where left butternut yellow.

I think this couple "read the book" of how another non verified 'guess car' became the Strickler Car ......
If you wish hard enough as you're talking, you can make anything a reality in your own mind, document your interpretation and print it thousands of times people will come to believe story after story....
