Oddball '61 Catalina Convertible, 3-sp Stick with Removeable Hardtop
This is a first for me....
Pretty awesome project for $8500...but I'd have to hang the hardtop on the wall, not a fan of the look. Hardtop was apparently made by the LeMans company of San Diego.... The extra fuel tank and helper springs suggests this one pulled a trailer (or delivered illicit goods, who knows) Link to 1961 Catalina Convertible auction https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/a8YAA...GO/s-l1600.jpg https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/JIAAA...Md/s-l1600.jpg |
From the eBay ad wording.... "Rear quarters have some rust above the rockers due to mouse pee"
:haha: The mice east of Denver must have some really large bladders. |
Can you imagine parallel parking this beast with manual steering and brakes and a stick?

That's exactly what I was thinking! Back when men were men....
