Re: 71 Lucerne blue TA 4 speed
Those early '70's Trans Ams are extremely cool cars. Shaker hoods, 455's, and arguably the coolest dash ever put into a musclecar with the engine-turned gauge panel. Yeah, I'm a fan too. I also like the round wheelwells more than the Camaros squared-off wheelwells to fit bigger slicks in the back. You know, I wonder why Chevrolet didn't put some kind of cool hood on 1970-1973 Camaros. The flat hood is terrible even with stripes.

It'll make the reserve. I wish it had the original motor, I'd be tempted to get all "NJ Steve" on it!

Re: 71 Lucerne blue TA 4 speed
Neat car: 455 HO, 4-speed. Blue on blue is a great color combination. That carb is going to be an expensive piece to find. Needs a whole bunch of body/rust work: it's also going to have a bunch of serious windshield and cowl rust based on the cowl tag photo and the general shape of the rest of the car. But for the $11,500 buy it now price, that's not even a bad price for anything rare these days.

Re: 71 Lucerne blue TA 4 speed
Its now at home in Klunkersville !!! We had a deal until the Poniac expert that wasn't even bidding told the owner where to look for the vin number https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif . We had looked at the car before it met reserve and made a deal https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif , that went south when he discovered the vin at the pan rail https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...thumbsdown.gif Thanks !!! We still made the deal for more money and here it is https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif. Wheres Klunkersville , Steve Shauger, Ken Pascoe, Frank Arrone, Bob Johnson, Chuck Hanson, Jeff Dotter, Jerry Macneish, and Don White all know where the field of dreams is https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif!!!!
