1977/1978 Pontiac Trans Am

My 74 year old uncle is looking to re-live his glory days. I am helping him find a 1977 or 1978 Pontiac Trans Am. Does anyone have a respectable car available? We are looking for a good quality driver in any color but red. Any leads would be greatly appreciated! We are located in Iowa so the closer the better. He has looked at projects but has decided that at his age that a car that is ready to drive is a better option.

I've got a 1975 Trans Am in silver with a black interior - 6.6L Pontiac Motor and a 4 speed. Car has only 17,500 original miles on it and runs and drives great. Let me know if you are interested in checking it out for your uncle.

I will run it by him but I am sure he has his heart set on a 77/78. What do you want for your car? I appreciate your reply!

I'm looking for something in the high 20's for the car. Remember, it's an all-original 17,500 mile Trans Am with virtually every option and no stories. Let me know if you'd like to explore further or if it's gotta be a '77/'78 car. With the exception of the front clip, they are the same car.

Your car is better than he needs. He wants more of a driver that he can afford to make a few mistakes. Something with more miles and the right year. Thanks for your response and it sounds like you have a great car!

... How about a 1979 Trans Am with 20,000 original miles ?
