'66 Satellite Hemi, 9600 Mile Day 2 Time Capsule

This one has me fishing for my wallet, but fortunately for my wife, I am out of garage space....

A little rough but amazing to find something like this in 2018.

Looks like it spent a lot of time at track. That single jug, drum brake M/C would scare the hell out of me

...IMO, less than the cost of the restoration.

Best guess: top tier resto with docs, original drivetrain, and racing history, it might crest $100K. would be a HOOT as is with the apparently nice interior. I'd leave that "POLICE TOW" sticker on the window!!!:3gears:

I think the best money spent on this car is in a complete mechanical overhaul. Not to be mixed up with a mechanical "resto" because people would still want to see those valve covers etc. looking exactly as they are now, when someone opens the hood.

I'd spend lots of time cleaning and making it mechanically sound and drive it as is......

You are correct. It would cost around $100k for a correct restoration and it would sell for around $60K at best, when done. The 66 and 67 cars are a love-it or hate-it style for most people out there.

I just noticed - Wow, it's here in Joysey!

I would get this running and driving and clean it up.... and drive the wheels off of it!

Body work 25-30k easy. motor? wellllllll 10k Interior 7-8k, tires wheels 1500-2k, trim 3k what you cant see priceless another 20k neat car mopar stuff is just expensive if it was 20k it would be gone.

I am doing a 67 coronet right now like the silver bullet car back in the day I love them Hemi's!!
