69 Nova Stabilizer bar bushings
 

Need to change out the old bushings as they were hard as heck. Bought some new ones at one of the on line stores. Got the bushings but they just don't look right. The screws I took out are about 1 inch long, if I mount these bushings will they spread out and draw up to the bottom of the frame flush?

Cut them top and bottom or find NOS.

I bought a pair from Camaro Central that were purty close for the finger style bracket. Part# SUS-474.

Thanks. I'll give them a try. Classic, Ricks and HBC all sell the same damn size. Anyone need an extra set that wont fit? I have to use something, as I threw one of them out with the trash.

Try soaking the old ones in laquer thinner for a day or so. They soften up, and with a little scrubbing look like new.

You could grind those on a bench grinder, to match your originals.

Still won't work right. They are too skinny as well.... the folks that sell the parts, should sell parts that fit. I'm waiting on the Camaro Central ones to come in the mail.

The band saw is what I did. Leave enough material so they smosh and widen.
