Nice project, comes with MacNeish cert. Odd to see a 140mph speedometer, can't tell if it's a real one or repop from the auction pics.

As for the trunk I think you are seeing the wire loom laying on the floor

I bet that is the loom and the angle around the latch just looks funny

Isn't it very possible this could be a 327 or 350 M20 car? Just seems like what's actually on the car, which isn't much, could have easily been added. No driveline at all. More than likely no build sheet. Just don't know how a car like this can conclusively be a Z from looking at some pics of some bolt on parts, some not even on the car.
