Did this car ever get fixed?

At some point you just have to say goodbye to the car , no matter how rare it used to be.

Cannot believe they would fix that without a rebody. I had a 69RS vert that was burnt to a crisp when the car next to it was firebombed outside a body shop. The remaining sheetmetal left on my car was so weak that the car buckled in the middle when we went to pull it out.

Hard to see... That's one where you pray everyone involved is safe/healthy. The car is just a car.

I watched all 4 of the videos on this car but didn't see any information on it after the epoxy coat. I just wondered if they were able to save it.

Wonder what the Shelby tags and vins/vin plate looked like after the fire ?

When the shock towers buckle and squeeze the engine, its past time to call it a day. Its a UNIBODY car, how could you ever trust any of that structure to reliably perform in the future? I have a customer who redid a Ford Thunderbolt that was in a garage fire. He did a heroic job of retaining as much of the original car as he could, and I wouldn't call it a rebody. He did have a hell of a time getting paint to stick to the overheated sheetmetal. I think he ended up using some kind of aircraft epoxy primer.
