67 427 Vette barn find
Congrats to Daniel and David Schutzbank on their recent barn find. I had already seen photos and heard the story but it came up on MSN's feature story this morning. Incredible find. Not to mention their recent Boss 429 find as well. Been a good year for you two already.

Thanks Rick! Wow MSN. The article was featured on Super Chevy and will be published in print too. Scotty Lachenauer did a very nice job and is one great car guy. This Corvette is really amazing. We had it at the NCRS Regional show in Altoona, PA and it qualified for the Bowtie award judging in all 4 categories - interior, exterior, chassis and mechanical. We're going to be in Las Vegas with the car for the Bowtie sign off judging. After that point we'll continue onto Bloomington and MCACN!
A couple important details did not make the article due to final edits out of our control, but we did originally give thanks to Yenko.net and Jeff Luzi who originally gave us the lead. The pleasure of this special find is that the Corvette has never been apart, never molested or hurt. It was used sparingly and put away due to family obligations. On a sad note, Jeff recently shared that Dan, the second owner/gentleman we bought the car from, passed away. Thanks for the kind words and support for the link. The Boss 429 is on another level... but it is in restoration and details are private at the moment. Regards, Dan |

Congratulations on the car, and what a fascinating article/story. Scotty knows how to bring a story alive. Looking forward to seeing it at MCACN!!!
