Original Burgundy-on-Red '69 Z
Neat car with some cool options (tilt, 8-track, etc). Love the color combo. Depending on the reserve, this might be a keeper...trim tag rivets do look a little off to me, however.

Good looking color combo.

Trim tag and rivets look good good and match up with my car built a day or 2 later. VIN stamp looks to have been added and the deck stamp has all the wrong fonts compared to 4 original stamps I have files on. I'd like to see the VIN stamp on the trans case but is it not shown? Diff looks perfect and matches up date wise.
I would say that's a re-stamped motor in both locations. |
Doesn't look anything like the partial stamp on my block either. Could be the same build date as my car.

The info on the TC thread indicates a hokey stamp block w/ the car but also that the repaired original lump is known to exist? Deadly color combo also over the moon car if the original block could ever land back w/ it too! Best of luck Hondo! :beers: ~ Pete . |
