Anybody ever see one assembled by McKinnon Industries in St. Catherine's, Ontario? First for me.

VIN stamp is weird too

1972 Z28 automatic, 3970010 casting

Let me know your source for CKT as a re-used suffix code for 1976 - I can only find it used for 1972 LT1. But that "VIN" stamp has me stumped - No N or L in it...

Vin stamping 161407473 - 1=Chevy + 6=Model Year +1=Oshawa Plant + Sequential six.
Are you sure the last Suffix digit is a T?
Could it be CKU for '76 B-Body w/ LM1 or CKM as '76 A-F-X-B-Body cars?
:hmmm:

If the T was stamped over the other letter that was there, I could see what you're saying yes. I haven't put eyes on it - just this pic. Anything is possible.

Remember: all 1972 F-bodies were built at the Norwood, Ohio plant. As you may recall that is why UAW targeted them for the labor strike in April 1972. It shut down the facility until 1973 and several thousand Camaros and Firebirds were scrapped on the line as a result.
