67 L-88 L-89 427 Aluminum Head 3904392 4/14/67
 

This is a super nice original 3904392 Big Block Chevy aluminum head. The 3904392 head was used exclusively on the 1967 L88 427/430HP, L89 427/435HP, and L89 396/375HP engines. This head was bought by the original owner of a 1966 Corvette with the 427/425HP engine. The head was bought brand new from the dealer as a pair. The other head was casting number 3919842 so I decided to separate them. This head came off the engine in running condition. It was only removed to return the car to original condition.

This head is in amazing condition and has seen little use and no abuse. There is no porting on the intake or exhaust ports. The only repair is one professionally installed thread insert in a spark plug thread. All other threads are excellent with no helicoils or repairs. They really don't get any nicer than this one!
