Old Classic Cars in TV/Movies

Check out this 1972 episode of ADAM-12.
http://watchseries.cx/adam-12/season/4/episode/21/
Lots of neat cars drag racing, and a '68 RS Camaro that stands out too.
Dick Clark plays the track owner, which is really Lions Drag strip in Wilimington Ca.
A host of muscle cars and other vintage cars are shown in the episode, including among others:
A Green 1969 Road Runner.
A bumperless white 1964 Plymouth.
A gray 1964 Plymouth with open headers.
A Limelight 1970 Road Runner with Americans.
An orange-and-black 1972 El Camino.
A white-and-blue 1956 Chevy wagon.
The Cam Busters’ Donny Simmons’ purplish-blue 1965 GTO with aluminum slots and cutup rear wheel wells and even a glimpse of an orange 1969 Daytona with a black nosecone. There’s a brief street race scene in the beginning of the episode and lots of drag race action near the end of it,not to mention the characteristic moral message found in all of the ADAM-12 episodes.

Does anyone remember the TV movie, Outrage from 1973 with Robert Culp?
From Wiki: "The movie, which originally aired on November 28, 1973, tells the story of a suburban neighborhood and family that is repeatedly terrorized by a group of privileged young men from neighboring families."
There were some hotted-up cars in that movie; I think a '56 Nomad, a second gen Camaro and another that the kids drove to terrorize his family.

Another movie: King of The Mountain with Harry Hamlin and Dennis Hopper

Bewitched

I think one of the best had to be Bewitched in the '69/'70 era. Whoever at Chevrolet supplied cars was really pushing muscle cars. In this episode, there's a Hugger Orange Chevelle SS396 ragtop, Samantha's driving a Rally Green Camaro RS ragtop, there's an Olympic Gold Endura bumper SS Camaro ragtop, and a yellow Corvette Roadster. The ladies at this meeting had some AWESOME rides

Wonder what ever happened to those cars. Were they on loan from GM or would they have gone into the studio's fleet? Quite a nice line up there.

Watch old Rockford Files episodes. At least one cool car per episode.

One episode featured that 2nd Gen Trans Am wagon.

I'm virtually certain the Olympic Gold SS convert ended up in WI. A friend bought it partially disassembled from another collector maybe 15 years ago. 10C LA build; 65 A 712. Had VE3 brackets but no bumper. The car was equipped exactly as the Bewitched car: 396, white top, no style trim.

It was restored as a Garnet Red RS. It was the Ronald McDonald charity car, displayed at B-J AZ some years ago.

There's a triple white SS-RS convert in this episode of Adam-12. VE3, ZL2, ZJ7. No D90 so may be special paint. Visible 12:40-14:00; 20:12-20:30.

First season of Perry Mason, Paul is driving a 56 or 57 White Corvette. Never see much of it, just quick glimpses. Gets referred to as a "white sports car".
