Re: 1970 Nickey Nova
Neat..looks good with those wheels...couldn't quite read the cowl tag date..thinking it might be an early car with those T-clips holding the radiator flap....most 70's have the buttons. Or maybe they were changed at some point??

Re: 1970 Nickey Nova
Thanks for the Nova pics Dan,always good to see Novas.Looks like a nice car.My survivor 70 BB is a 01C built car with the plastic buttons holding the flap down.I find it interesting with the T-clips also.

That car & owner come to Downers Grove a lot.

Re: 1970 Nickey Nova
that is a nice car! Would be even nicer if the owner would clean it up a little. Nova's get no respect!

Re: 1970 Nickey Nova
Sam, cut the guy some slack......at least he's driving it.
The story is that he purchased the car from a NicKey Chevrolet Mechanic in 1976-77 for $1,800.00 againts and asking price of $2,200.00. He said the mechanic also had a '73 SD TA, and one toy had to go. He also said that the car is very much like he purchased it back then. |
Re: 1970 Nickey Nova
I always admire people that drive their cars no matter how nice or how expensive they are. No lawn ornaments is my opinion.

Re: 1970 Nickey Nova
Is this a Nickey sold car or a Nickey modified car?
