If anyone has a car which has dark blue comfort weave this may be the only chance you have to pick up a set of REAL COMFORT WEAVE SEAT COVERS. (for anyone who doesn't know THERE IS AN ENORMOUS DIFFERENCE between the current pressed pattern VS the original WOVEN pattern)
Fronts are BIN 495 Rear BIN 225 Front Buckets https://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-GTO-PA...!US!-1&vxp=mtr Rear Coupe https://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-PONTIA...Naz5fr&vxp=mtr Rear Convertible https://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-PONTIA...Naz5Pc&vxp=mtr |

Man I'm confused. Are they GM NOS or are they reproductions? They can't be both...??? https://www.preludeonline.com/images...s/confused.gif :dunno: |
They are NOS Comfort weave panels sewn into new covers back by PUI in the 1990's.
The comfort weave is worth more than they are asking for the complete covers. ESPECIALLY if someone had a dark blue interior in a high dollar Judge or GTO... If they were off white or neutral I would have bought them AT triple the price so I could separate them at the seams and use the comfort weave in the 73 LT RS Z28 I am restoring... that is how I know the difference and the lack of availability. The best reproduction comfort weave looks like junk compared to the real thing. |
Oh wow, thats crazy to know that the seat covers were two parts that had to be combined by the purchaser.
Thanks for the info. |
