I love the no A/C part. Very cool car.

Hurst Olds

Me too.A/C doesn't belong on a musclecar. And this car has a lot of muscle. The 391 gears are nice also code SL.

earntaz 05-18-2017 06:59 PM

TRUE -- however, if you live somewhere down south where it gets pretty toasty during the summer ... driving the car at 2 AM when it's cool enough to enjoy it is not in the in the picture.

Last Camaro I built in Illinois and took to Texas was not fun to drive -- too damn hot and totally uncomfortable except in the winter months ... the rest of the time, it may has well been a carpet car.

The Nova I am building now WILL have A/C. For what it is worth -- there are those that prefer to sweat ... so be it. TAZ :beers:

That is my dream car.. Nice.. Wow ..

ScottG 05-19-2017 03:11 AM

You can't please some peoples kids I guess. The car is worth the asking price if it is as described and all the numbers match. Cars like these are near impossible to find .. Good Luck with the sale Sir..

Commenting on for sale ads

The for sale section is for sellers to post their cars or parts. I just removed an inappropriate comment. Some sites don't allow comments at all. If you are truly interested and have questions that's fine.

John's a great car guy, very knowledgeable and honest.

Looks like a great car.... GLWS

I see it still has the Original Dash Plaque. Mine had the original purchaser, and car build number on it.

The number is the when the request for the plaque came into Hurst. This is not the build number. My car never had the plaque. Also, there is not a complete list of cars. The information available is shipping records from Demmer Engineering and the list is not complete.

Awesome car, John. Good luck with the sale.

Mr70 11-12-2017 10:03 PM

John,is this a Kansas City assembly?...(X in VIN)

Stefano 11-13-2017 12:35 AM

All 1969 H/Os were built at the Lansing Michigan Plant as were most of the Hi-Po W-Machines

The close proximity to Demmer Engineering who added all the custom items and paint scheme made logistics sense.
