'62 Corvette Straight-Axle Built in '68
|
ive seen this car at a couple local cruises, Very Cool& well preserved car, but w/ the roll bar & tiny seats, there's no way I'm fitting in there

Very cool car...

Not straight axle, but I can see why most people would think it was. Has stock front suspension with a spacer kit that shims the frame up on the original front crossmember.

----Pretty commonly seen in 62 on down Corvettes back in the day. Then, removing the bumpers and moving the lower valence up to meet the grill area actually enforced the lift......Bill S

That thing is awesome.

I saw that car at this year's York US30 reunion 3 weeks ago. Cool ride!

----I cant be the only one who recognized the owners name. Rod Saboury has had more than one very cool pro style Corvette ride over the years. A very cool 63 split window comes to mind. Most everything I have seen him build is very sanitary and capable of running good #s as well as able to navigate on the street.
----Just looked again at the pics and noticed a poster of his 57 in the backround......Bill S |
