Baldwin-Motion Phase III GT Corvettes at MCACN 201

Check out posting of feature on the Phase III GTs in Chicago on The Car Guy Chronicles, http://www.carguychronicles.com/

It was the first time ever that three GTs, one from each year of production, was in the same place at the same time!

The Chicago show was outstanding and the Baldwin-Motion/MOTION Reunion (MOTION MADNESS) a huge success.

Curious about the orange 1969. Is this the car that was bought in Quebec about 20 years ago, brought to Ontario, then sold to a GM dealer/collector in Arkansa a few years later ? Was painted blue at time with wrong front end.

To expand on original post, Arkansas dealer sold to was Jim Tarkington, who had car restored with correct front end etc.installed. I believe there is a old post referring to this car when resto was completed. Is this the same car in article at MCACN show ?

Thanks a lot. The picture you chose was not taken by Dan. His photos were really good. That one was shot by me using Joel Rosen's camera which was not set for high-res photos. I didn't know it. That's why the stripes are breaking up on Dan's GT.

Very nice Dan. Very arty! I noticed you also have a Nikon D-series DSLR. My Nikon makes me look good.

Yes Sam, I do. I wish I knew how to use it. I tinker with the depth of field and try to achieve lots of bookeh. Look it up if you need a photography refresh...
