I checked the car and all wheels on the car AND the spare tire are the same
K1 3 9 Can anyone tell me why the spare tire would be a black rim and the ones on the car are red to match the car?

A wheel was painted black from the factory when it was to be used with one of the full wheel covers. Color keyed with poverty caps...Joe

Joe .. The wheels on my car all seem to be original paint, the 4 on the car are red, the one in the trunk is black .... I would of thought they all would have been red ?

They would've been. Unless you know the complete history or have a build sheet or window sticker it would be difficult to determine how things were then. I'm going through the same things with my 69 Camaro SS...Joe
