Hey guys, im looking to buy a set of vintage wheels from a local guy, At first i thought they were vintage american racing, but they dont have anything on them saying american racing, and one has "u.s." on a center cap. Any ideas?

IIRC, there was a company that made wheels sold as "U.S." or "U.S./Indy", but whether they made wheels that look like those pictured, I'm not sure.

I think Bill is right about them being US Mags. What are the rim size and width?
See the vintage wheel post, I posted some pics of a set I have.
can you post pics of the back side?

thats the only pics i have of them, i know they are 15x7 and 15x8. Any ideas on what a set would be worth? He wants $800.00. Are they better or worse than the original american racing wheels? thanks guys

I think US wheel was/is American Racings sister company. They are basically the same.... they just don't have "American Racing" on the backside. The good news is... you can use AR center caps.

Make sure they are not cracked in and around the center hub

I would say he is in the ballpark and they are 15"s. Those would look good.
