The silver car exists, I've seen several pics and PHS for it. Hate to sound mysterious, but I'm sworn to secrecy. The current long time owner is very protective. I can say it is in north Texas.

Is it restored?

Can't understand the owner's attitude. Why wouldn't he show a one of one car at a premier show like MCACN?

The last I heard it was undergoing a slow "pay as I can" restoration at a local shop. I'm not sure why he is so secretive about it. He just did not want to be pestered about it. IIRC, it was ordered new in AZ and migrated to Tx in the early 90's.

My guess is he is a normal guy with a unique and abnormal car, and doesn't want to be bothered buy a bunch of Money trying to swindle him out of it constantly...which is most likely what would happen.

That's the way my dad was. He was a private individual; He didn't like being pestered and he didn't like dealing with people he didn't know.
