A Day at the Salvage Yard
5 Attachment(s)
Is there anything better than a stroll through an old salvage yard with old iron? It is truly therapeutic.A couple of days ago, a buddy and I did just this. Upon rumors of a couple of 69s in a yard, one a Z, we just had to go and find out for ourselves. Sit back and enjoy. the security system involves briars and grapevine, and there was plenty of security. Both Camaros were perched on top of other vehicles. ENJOY!

When I was young my father and I would get up early go have breakfast and either cruise the back country roads looking for old iron or hit the salvage yards to see the cool old iron. Good Times! Thanks for posting

Days past
In the early 70's junk yards in my area sold engines at one dollar a horsepower. A 69 Z engine-$290.00, Hemi's were $425.00. Nowadays Most yards in my area will not let you go back and look around.
