'69 L78 Chevelle with Build Sheet
Not a bad looking car, and a great color combo. Pretty rare to find a build sheet in a '69.

That's a beauty.

----It is nice, Mark! I wonder if he has the original bellhousing laying around? And...One thing I cant stand, truck style spark-plug heat protectors. Never on a 69 SS. I don't even mind the lack of a smog set-up and incorrect manifolds as much.....Bill S

No axle information on build sheet. Does that mean nothing specified by who ordered it? What is the car? "Restored"? Preserved? Fluffed? Replated booster, repop GM hoses and clamps and an overabundance of firewall markings. Very nice but something doesn't seem right. maybe the well written ad has something to do with it...

That laminated build sheet looks just like others I have seen & have here, including real COPO's.There's 3 major indicators on it that make me believe it's legit.
There is specific axle information on the build sheet. It was also very possible to get either a 3.07,3.31,3.55,3.73 & 4.10 rear ratio in a 1969 L-78 Chevelle from the factory back then. All have been documented. |
just dosent look like a baltomore buildsheet,no selling or delivered dealer etc that's strange..
