Another 1970 Camaro L78 on Ebay?

It appears to have the proper air cleaner:

The Tach is correct for an L78, The car still has the original shift ball but the wood grain shift plate did not
come on the L78, They were Black. It also has a BB Fan Shroud and the L78 air cleaner.

I see the seller added some more pictures to his listing. Another classic copper with black and white custom cloth L78. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif

So a deluxe interior L78 would come with a wood grain wheel but a black shift plate. That is just strange. Doesn't sound right, L78 was an option, not a different car.

Although I cant see clearly the interior code, it appears to be custom cloth Black with white accents code 713.
Custom interior Z-87, would include the wood dash and wood horn shroud as came with Z-23, Interior Accent group. As well the wood shift plate was part of Z-87 Custom Interior, but NOT the Z-23 Accent Group.
As my own 70 R/S Z-28 has the wood dash, wood shroud, BLACK shift plate with 711 Std Black Interior.....

Yes each was a different option in itself... dash/steering wheel/shifter plate...

By why wouldn't an L-78 be optioned with a woodgrain shifter plate?

Chuck, since my car has the Z-87 option the wood shift plate is correct. Correct? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Also, I noticed the 130 speedo and missing tach needle in the ebay car. Should it not be 150 mph, but since these gauges were optional possibly they were added later?

Let's say, conservatively, you put 50G's into a restoration on that car. How much is it worth then?

Hard to say Mark... does not have the original motor but he says he has the P-o-P. I think that a frame off restored 1970 L-78 Camaro would be worth $60,000-$75,000. The only issue I have is that I have never seen a pristine condition L-78 Camaro sell. Either complete cars with NOM or complete project cars. Tough call.
