Hi 69 L78Post.
Is this your car? It's a 69L78Post from Canada, just guessing. I am trying to figure out who is who, (not using names is kind of confusing) Ryan http://i1080.photobucket.com/albums/...ps23b0efe1.jpg http://i1080.photobucket.com/albums/...psea3f1a56.jpg |

Re: Vintage Drag Pics
Here's a 72 RR, must be an early car to have an air grabber? Also, a Fiat, but I posted it here because of the Hemi, and the name.

First '72 Roadrunner I've ever seen with an Air Grabber hood. You most likely are correct (i.e., early car). Pete |
Re: Vintage Drag Pics

Re: Vintage Drag Pics
Great shots Peter, I've always liked the Speedwin Automotive Dart! I was chatting online with the brother of the guy that owned the 72 RR with the Air Grabber. It was a 400 Auto, Dark Green Metallic with gold strobe. It was destroyed in a crash in 76 or 77.

Re: Vintage Drag Pics
440+6 GTX. Looks like a black car. ( I wonder why he doesn't have the Air Grabber up?)

Thanks, but the real thanks goes to whoever took the photos. Too bad about the Roadrunner. |

Doesn't look like it has one. It should if it's an original 440+6 car. |

https://www.yenko.net/attachments/use...13121841_n.jpg

Could be the non-air grabber hood. Like the LS6's there were two versions of the domed hood - with or without the functional air grabber. The hemi had the trapdoor, standard. You had to pay extra for the trap door on the other models. |
