Heater hose fitting on dual quad intake

Anyone ever use a 90 degree fitting to avoid this debacle between the alt bracket (that doesn't align with the intake bolt/stud!), the fuel line and the heater hose??

yes I have one on my 4x2 intake for clearance issues.

I'd be putting a 90 on there for sure Marlin. I put a Victor Jr on this SBC engine and didn't like its upward pointing water outlet so I added a 90 there as well. It's function over form sometimes.

Nice! I'm not as crazy as I think most times, where did you get that fitting NorCam?

It was on my cars water pump when originally dressed as stock 302 but believe this is a 63-67 Vette fitting used on the 327 motors. I simply reused it but have found that GM Performance has them listed on their website (click link) and they are also offered at CamaroCentral and have seen a few on eBay (link) but would check to see of size is perfectly correct for your thread/hose size. They look very similar with that 6 sided design anyways.
