im doing some polishing work for a fellow named Jack Fuche

he sent me some old pics from back in the day

winning a "top dog" race ay Detroit Dragway in 62 in a 61 Starliner

got disqualified for valve shims being .030 too thick

he said he ran a/stock because he had metal front clip,the other guys had fiberglass.

Skinny is a dear friend of mine. His first ride with Tubing was the only 427 Truck ever made. It was the real deal and is currently under restoration. Here he is back in the day

Jack went off to Vietnam and never had a chance to get into the Mustangs. He loved them later on a bought a 68 390 GT from me and had all of his contacts build it for him. It is a bad ass machine with a 428 CJ. He is still drag racing today. Great guy and was a Ranger is Nam so struggles a bit. Thought you guys would appreciate the info.
