Carlisle a great Day

Thanks, novadude. I had a great day at Carlisle on Saturday. People were all over my car and it was hard to get a picture. They asked all kinds of questions about my car and it was a blast.

Day-2 car

I also had the NMW tow bar on the 1967 Nova at Carlisle too.

Novadude, I was looking to meet you- shame we did not hook up. I did vote for your car. Overall the show was good. DAY 2 Novas are my favorite.

I appreciate the kind words for my Dad's car. It was fun to so many people dig it. Often at the local cruise nights- the casual crowd doesn't always pick up on the vintage theme. I'm sure you get that with your 65 at times, so when we can bring them to a show full of enthusiasts- it's nice to feel the appreciation.

Did you get a chance to run it down the strip yet? Can you get it to SCR20? I'd love to see it there.

This year's SCR isn't gonna happen for the Nova, but I'll be there. Car is getting sorted bit by bit. Need to modify the idle circuit presently.

I hope to get it out to a SCR event to race in the future. Maybe I'll even flat to it with a bar from the hotel to the track. Thanks for the enthusiasm!

For now, gonna look to get in a track rental to see it run. I'm confident it will meet our expectations- but not gonna be disappointed if we need to make adjustments on the 1st pass. Heck- not even sure what rear tire is best for us at the track.

Saw this car at Carlisle Sat, My favorite car there, that wasn't in the Solid lifter building

Yes... I get the same thing. Most people don't quite "get it" at local cruise nights, as they tend to be drawn to shiny billet stuff.

I wasn't by my car much on Saturday, and the few times I walked by your car, I didn't see you there. I live right down the road in Shippensburg, so I'll likely be back next year. If the weather is OK I am going to try and go to the York reunion in 2 weeks.
