I would rather see that than the supercharged Z/28 waiting in the wings. A modern 302 would be a hoot.

Karp's Brakes in the LA area does the metering valves. Steve Gregori gave me that name. It runs about $65.

I am currently reading Glory Days by Jim Wanger. These are the cars he was involved in while working for Pontiac. It is a very interesting story on how this type of car was developed.

I have a stock built 302. The mech advance is 18* and the initial is 18* all in by 2800 RPM. I also have 15* of full vacuum advance. This is on 92 octane. The 30-30 cam needs alot of timing to run...

Hi Eddie. I met you a few years ago at the Rock N Rod Revival show. I have the Blue Z/28 (it was red back then). Are you thinking about any shows this year. Rock N Rod is back on this year in June.
