Firestone Wide oval date code

I have an old Firestone Super Sports Wide oval white stripe G70-14 with a date code 001HC277. There is no DOT in front of this or anywhere on the tire. Any Idea what date this is?

I am parting out a 71 Lemans. It's very rusty but I did a quick check of the tunnel and it looks solid. I have to jump ahead of myself an remove the front seat and carpet and get a better look at it....

In 67 and 68 a 3 or 4 speed stick or powerglide were the only options with a small block. 3 speed stick was probably standard. 4 speed and PG optional.

Yes it was sold. I looked at it last fall but couldn't come to a agreement on price. I think he said it went south to Kansas or Missouri.

This car did need a lot of work.
