What would be the accepted "correct" height from ground to bottom of fender, with stock tires and rims for 1970 SS454. Any difference for 1971-72 SS454 . Thanks

Were the steering shaft enters the coupler that attaches to the rag joint, is it 100% that big blocks are connected with a bolt, and small blocks are pressed in?

Any ideas what approx. % of Chevelles/ElCaminos with 454 did not have Evaporative Emissions Control. Was it mandatory to have this on every car or dependent on what state car delivered to .

Thanks for the imput. I checked out Classic Ind. and the list price on one can of paint is $64.95! Expensive, but the wheels on your Z look great.

I have a 1971 ss454 El Camino with bench seat and 4 speed M-22. Presently has Hurst- any info for correct shifter, knob application - maybe you have one for sale? Thanks.
