A friend of mine has a 1963 LeMans that he has owned for over 35 years, it has been stored for the last 25 years. Now when he is retired he's thinking of getting it back on the road.

He discovered...

Re: Well, the Chevelle is D.O.A.....

This is bad :-(

Are you sure all the angles are OK? It's not like your Chevelle is extended to be a limo so a standard driveshaft should cope with your setup. I don't see any need for a 4"...

Re: A Newer Project!

Nice to see your work of detail.

In my 2001 LS1 that I bought 10 years ago to put in my '69 Camaro I still have the original Denso spark plugs. They look fine and it runs fine, so I haven't had...

Re: Buying a ZL1 in 1969

Wasn't the number of 50 units required for NHRA-approval to be run as a Stock class racer? And that was the reason for Gibb ordering 50 of them, to be sure he could go racing.

That is Opel's that were rebadged and had some cosmetic changes, in Brazil they were sold as Chevrolet Opala, in Australia as Holden Commodore.

Re: Someone who wants a '71 Hemi 'Cuda 'Vert?

I suspect one fellow over here who could be the buyer. He is a big time collector of Mopar's and has at least one Hemi 'Cuda and has always wanted a 'vert for his collection.

He's knowledgeable...

Re: D80 Question

My 05C X77 (Made on May 15) has spoilers and no D80.

The D80 marking had to do with the arrival of Firebird Trans Am production to the Norwood plant that came there in mid May. The needed a way to...

Re: 1972 Opel Manta Ralley

Opels are great cars. The European Chevy.

Those four-bangers are good engines, in my youth I had several Rekords. One easy way to make them faster was to change the cylinder head on the 1900...

To be fair it's only a plane Jane Camaro with SYC-stripes and don't trust Google translate.

Re: New Old Stock '69 3963512 CE Short Block

You could buy a new one over the counter in 1976 for $875.00 and they would probably be able to give you an discount on that too.

Re: Big Screen Muscle - Furious 7

Good for the young kids to see "real" cars.

I remember an episode more than ten years ago when I stopped with my Camaro at a food place. Up walks a small kid, 8-10 years old and looks amazed. He...

Re: "Hog Wild" '69 Z-28 Super Stock Car.

Re: Now I've seen it all......

If some one put in all that effort to make this car looks like it does, why not put on a set of decent wheels? It would make a lot more to the look of it.

Cool car, chick magnet??

Re: L79 ZI Nova Engine 350ci/350hp VIN:16N126870

I would say it was made on Dec 1, 1965, casting date is Nov 4, 1965 and VIN starts with 16N. All indicates it is an engine for a 1965 car.

Re: Next Years Power Tour Car

I had the same thing with my Camaro when I bought it. In my case it was more like one turn right and two turns left. It had a very large turn radius going to the right :-)

Re: Vintage drag photos

Here is one of a 1967 Camaro that I saw on US Nationals 35 years ago in 1979. At the time I thought it just looked cool. If it is running in SS/I I guess it might be a Z/28.

Anyone recognize...
