I was actually looking at the Super Bee. It will cost a lot less in the long run and be a lot less trouble. It's not as nice as Dave's car.

I think the bracket that the rod connects to is different. I had a '68 pedal, and a local swap meet dealer told me that it was a '68 and the '69 is different. I'll send you a PM with some phone...

I couldn't agree more. I love manual transmissions. My brother had a '70 RS Z28 and sold it because it was an automatic. I traded a nice numbers matching '67 SS396 Chevelle for my current Camaro only...

Tom won the US Nationals in '78. I always wondered if Don lifted a little or somehow allowed Tom to win. Tom's son had died not long before this and a win at Indy probably lifted him up a lot.
