Yes it's all rubber and original, except for the hoses mine were cracked and leaking vacuum. It all even works you can hear the RPM's change when it kicks in, and when you shift from third to fourth...

Charlie, One more thing, How about a VIN on the filter flange. looks like it might of got undercoated also.

I think your right the production filter will be different from the over the counter filter, they still do it today no need for all the silk screen on the production filter.

Charlie, If you remove the bottom two bolts the shocks will extend far enough to read the dates (Thats what I did)understand if you don't even want to go that far.

Charlie, I think the question above was the heat shield brackets on the drivers side, down on the exhaust manifold. Hard to tell from your pictures, but they should be Orange. Drivers side bolt on...

Silver paint is from the touch up from the Orange overspray, I understand they had a guy at the end of the paint line touching up the intake with silver paint.
Most of my intake bolts have silver on...

Charlie, The only thing I'm aware of that was painted with a brush on the engine was the plug wire stansions. Take a look should see the brush marks and the orange bolts. My car had brush marks on...

I agree, you can even take cleaning a Survivor car to far, just depend on the degree of car you start with.
