Re: Do you think this will lower the price of gas?

One other note, the high price of oil will bring about more exploration and more production, including shale oil from Canada and the oil sands of our West. But it will also bring about more...

Re: Do you think this will lower the price of gas?

Don't forget that those countries owning more than a trillion U.S. dollars of our debt, China and India, are keeping the price of oil high by subsidizing the price back home. Both China and India...

Re: GNX Sale

Re: GNX Sale

Over at the turbo Buick site there are a few posts about this car. One says the car sold a few days ago on ebay for 40k and the owner may be flipping it for a small profit. Another said the sale...

Yenko,.oops, I mean a Yenko "tribute"

While browsing through the current Hemmings Motor News(June), I saw a dealer ad for a 1969 Yenko(page #224). The Orange and white "Yenko" was offered for less than 60K. So, of course, it couldn't be...

Re: 70 Firebird project, decode the vin and trim t

I thought all Firebirds/Camaro's got 10-bolts beginning in 19701/2. My 71 T/A has a 10-bolt "safe-t-trak" axle. Was the 12 bolt part of the T/A package or an option in 70?

Re: Starter overheating question

A very common problem with GM starters. I used heat shields, changed starters, etc., but nothing worked. The problem, especially if you have headers, is that the heat soaks the starter and the wires....
