I believe both auto and manual transmissions were 0 cost options, so the transmission "option" won't appear on the invoice.

I have found a few BS's under the drivers side carpet. Sometimes in the foot area or closer to the shifter hump. Most of these cars were Pontiac plant built cars. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with...

Dave - Great looking car and an H.O.! The color is called Springmist Green Met. It would be interesting to see if it has the performance axle option.

Dave - I can help with the codes...also, the Engine Unit Number should be on the invoice which really helps in identifying the engine.

It would be a home run if it was a Ram Air II car....

Jim - In '68 the billing docs were different than the '69 and up invoices you have there.
For example, Box 50 might have a 3. Options for box 50:

1 = Power brakes
2 = Power steering
4 = Tilt...

FWIW, from my experience, the seat(s) have to come out. Also, the BS might be hard to see because it will be black from the sound deadener.

The option breakdown should have come with the PHS docs. If it's a Pontiac built car, check under the carpet on the drivers side. I have found a few right under the drivers seat or slightly forward....
