Would a "group buy" help with the costs? Is it fixturing the hoses or prepping the stamps that is time consuming?
I can handle the removal of the ring if that is the time consuming part.

Basically a threaded tube with a long bolt and end adapters that touch as little of the spring as possible.

You make me VERY nervous pressing bearings in that way. Those ears are very thin wall and will snap easily. Better to support on the rear cover surface.

Seems like everything I read on the SPI forums says the best adhesion for the epoxy primer is a sandblasted surface. I know you don't want to hear that. Anything else doesn't provide the "tooth"...
