Iīm a bit confused about the blocks being produced in the 80`s, since Yenko got the rights to the blocks in 1976 and changed the tooling to reinforce the blocks. So what did happen back then ?

The heads got a big #8 on them and casting looks like 411 929. Could they be the original heads for a 1974 engine ?

Hasse bought the block from a guy in southern Germany. The German guy had bought the never used block at a swap meet in Texas in the mid 80īs.
