DRDAVE..Looks like it has a BB heater block. Also with a 12 bolt posi and 3:55 gears... could it have been born with a BB?

No. I put the heater box on (and new heater core) when the front end was off the car and I also added the 3:55 posi (BT coded rear).
As stated, it is a fun driver.
