Basically a state Funeral in PQ for him - body presently lying in state or was in the Forum - but then again it isn't busy or needed this year certainly - HA!..
Not sure how he rates such treatment after death - but this IS Quebec where almost everything seems to be or at least - gets 'overblown'..
Public obviously seems to have forgotten his 'fall from Grace' a few years back when he was charged with Perjury for lying about his son's whereabouts when the police charged the boy for sexual assault on a minor, and senior just about landed in jail for hiding him from the police, lying to them about his whereabouts, and later giving him an alibi which proved to be false.
Seems his name and hockey notoriety saved him then..
Guess PQ just loves them their Sports Heros regardless of what happens 'off of the ice'..
